Long drive from the Oregon coast to the California Redwoods . . . second stop in Oregon was Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Definitely the spot for an avid golfer with 4 courses on the property. We finished up the Oregon coast by watching whales and spotting starfish at the "Devil's Punchbowl". Once we entered California we started along the redwood parks. Loved the Avenue of the Giants which has some of the oldest redwoods and came across a hurd of Elk. Stayed the night at a B&B near Benbow lake. Next stop San Francisco !
